| Mistake at Peachstate. | |
| We went to Peachstate this past weekend (5/3/08) we were fast all day in the first speed charts we were 3rd with a 18.58 only .05 of a second from top of the chart. The second time out we dropped to fith with a 18.57 and 2nd to 5th were only .05 apart but the leader then was .45 ahead (10). We went out for qualifying in 16th postion with a draw of 50. The fastest time on the baord before I went out was a 18.19 se by (41 TJ reaidd). I went out expecting the front to grip ans push the nose really hard going into one and out of two but it didn't push and it caught and i backed it in the wall. After that happened I thought I was still going to have a lap to get in the show and I went busted an amazing lap of 18.51 for having bent apart of the frame. After qualifying the team decided that is was not a good idea to run the car becuase of the bent part of the frame. We qualifies 8th out of 25 even with that bent bar!! We'll come back soon and we'll show them whose got the skills to win a race at Peachstate. Congrats to Russle Fleeman for winning this week. I guess thats my guy to beat. I want to thank my crew for all their hard work and getting the car able and ready for this past weekend. I also want to thank my Grandfather for the car, My dad for helping me thru the tough time after i backed it in the wall (even though he made me drive up their (i turned 15 last wednesday(4-30-08))), and the rest of my whole family for supporting me. | |
