| We ran at Cordele this past week after my litle mistake at peachstate. I got there after all the4 place practice sesion had been run due to my sisters gradution had taken place that morning. Congrats to Haley!!!! So ASA let me have a few mercy laps like 5 or 6 thats all we need on my second lap I busted a .48 which was good enough for a place fourth in the speed charts. we went out for qualifying and didnt do so well. We had the opposite problem this week that we did last week. I couldn't get the nose of the car down so I ended up 13. No big Deal. We went out at started the race and first caution right-o-way somebody spun infront of me. The restart we ran for a while and I moved up to about 8th. I reached over for some water to find out the holder had broken and had drained all the water so I didn't have any that was lap 35. ASA was counting the caution laps up to lap 51. So our restart happened on lap 50 and ran for about 75 laps and on the first lap I went ahead and passed 70(Jermery Gerstner) on the outside. Then we had a caution on lap 75 for Jermey going off the track. That was our last restart and I keep trying to get passed the 6th place car but it just wasnt working so I waited and waited then on the second to the last lap I held it out and crossed him over coming off of two and I drove it super deep into 3 and got by him and then all I had to do was hold on for one more lap. We end up 6th after the whole long day. I want to thank Gene, Jason, Charles, Jermey, and Alex for all thier hard work this week and all the weeks since this season has started. I also want to thank my Grandfather, Grandmother, Dad, and MY MOM(happy mothers day). And Congrats to Haley for gradutating. I also was told that I raised the most money in my helmet for Easton. | |
