| We went to pratice on friday and we where decent we were probaly like 3rd fastest. We struggled though. So saturday came and we went out for pratice and didnt really run well except for our moch run we had a teen behind Bubba Pollard with an .04. So we were decent there just not to good for the race. so qualifying came and we went out 6th( can't get a break on those draws). We where the fastest of all the Crate motored cars the only cars faster where the two super motors. So we got 3rd then I drew a number three pill and so we started thrid. The race came and we started off with a long green flag run. I manage to brus the wall once on the front with my front rigth tire but no damage was done. On lap 55 we had a caution for my team mate who got pinched into the wall and flipped I was right behind Mr. Russel Fleeman. He is ok the car was just destroyed. we were in fifth then. we raced hard for a long time with the 15 car and i moved up to thrid in the process and on the last lap the 15 dove down on the inside and just slide up infront of me. I let him so that we didnt end up with torn up race cars. We ended fourth thats our best finish. I want to say thanks to my grandparents, my parents, the crew, and ESPECIALLY Gene for sticking in there this week. It was a tough one Gene but we got through it. | |
