| We ran at Lanier National Speedway this weekend. When we tested this past week we ran very promising times. When it came to practice on friday we ran very laps because we were so good. Qualifing was on friday also. I ran a 14.19 for qualifing and the pole was a 14.09. We ended up 3rd after qualifing but when the pill draw happened we started 5th. On the drop of the green flag i jumped out side to run in line with 31 Tyler Milwood. We ran two wide two deep for 20 laps and if Tyler had ever gotten a good run off of a corner and drop in front of the 38 I',m convinced that we would have taken the lead. On lap 50 I took second place away from 23 Paul Kelley. On lap 73 we had a caution for a spun car. When the race restarted i was on the pole and i ran super hard fro the first 5 laps tring to take 38's spot. At the drop of the checkers i had finished second. But in post-race inspection they threw Shane Sawyer out for an illegal part on the motor. So after all the fans had left and the lights where off MY CREW walked away with the trophy. I didn't win this race on the track my crew and I won this race in the shop making sure that we were legal. I have to thank them for that becuase we woulda been thrown out as well if something had been illegal. Thanks to all the crew, my grandparents, my parents, all of my fans, and all my supporters. Our next race is this weekend at Pechstate Speedway. Maybe we'll contiune this winning streak! | |
