Gresham Gets Washed Out At Orange County

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROUGEMONT, NC – Max Gresham saw his chances of winning another American Speed Association Southeast Asphalt Tour event get washed out Saturday when rains cancelled the RC Cola/Moon Pie 100 at Orange County Speedway.

Gresham – the leader of the ASA Southeast season championship chase after seven events - had qualified third for the event when heavy thunderstorms hit the 3/8-mile North Carolina track just prior to the green flag.

The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 22.

Gresham and his No. 7-11 Gresham Motorsports stock car will return to action on Saturday, July 27, at Montgomery (AL) Motor Speedway. The Gateway 100 ASA event will take the green flag at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
