Gresham Motorsports Stays 'Wide Open' In Preparation For 2010 Racing Season

Griffin, GA (March 4, 2009) – It’s been a busy off-season as Gresham Motorsports prepares for a full 2010 racing season.
The organization, led by veteran team manager Gene Roberts, has been building a Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) car for Max Gresham as well as readying a pair of the team’s familiar 7-11 racers.
“We’ve been wide open,” said Roberts in a recent phone interview. “The ARCA car is a completely different deal than we have been working on the past. There’s a lot of things we have run into like getting the right parts and pieces that have slowed us up a little bit, but it’s going to be a really nice car when we’re done. We’re looking forward to doing some testing later this month .”
Gresham will make his ARCA debut in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 at Salem (IN) Speedway on Saturday, April 11.
Meanwhile, the Gresham Motorsports crew has also been busy tuning up a pair of 7-11 racers for Late Model and US Legends International competition.
“We’re going to be announcing a new development driver for the 7-11 Late Model very soon,” said Roberts. “We’re working on the final details and schedule for the deal, but we’re very excited about the direction this program is going.”
Meanwhile, Charlie Gresham will make his 2010 US Legends International debut this Saturday, March 6 at Atlanta Motor Speedway as part of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event.
